Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), is a spin-off movie from the Star Wars franchise, American "science fiction space opera" directed by Gareth Edwards. Although it is not the first autonomous film inspired by the Original Star Wars Trilogy, it is the first autonomous film of the Star Wars Anthology series. Rogue One has a cast consisting of the stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. The plot begins following Jyn Erso, the daughter of an unusual designer, who created a super weapon for the Galactic Empire, the Death Star and his quest to recover his plans in order to destroy it.
