Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

Star Wars: Episode V (1980) is an American film of the genre "space opera" directed by Irvin Kershner. The script, based on a story by George Lucas. Although in chronological it is the fifth movie of the Star Wars saga, it was actually the second film in the saga to be released. The film is located three years after the destruction of the Death Star. In "The Empire Strikes Back" Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo and the rest of the Rebel Alliance are chased by Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire. In this episode the love story between Han and Leia is presented, while Luke learns more about the Force from Master Yoda's hand. With Han and Leia captured by the Empire, Luke will fight Darth Vader in a confrontation without equal, but Vader hides a terrible secret.
