The silence of the lambs is a 1991 American film genre thriller and horror. It was directed by Jonathan Demme and the main actors are Jodie Foster, Anthony Hopkins and Scott Glenn. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Harris. The film tells the story of Clarice Starling, a young detective who seeks the help of Dr. Lecter, with the aim of imprisoning another serial killer. Oscar for Best Picture in year 1991.
