The diminutives in Spanish

Say “oscurito” instead of “oscuro”; “mesita” instead of “mesa”; “sillita” instead of “silla”; “carrito” instead of “carro”; “casita” instead of “casa”; “pececito” instead of “pez”; “rinconcito” instead of “rincón”, etc. Make it small, make it cute, make it sweet, nice, and show how fond you are of the object or thing you are talking about.
