Superman II (1980) is the second film of the superhero Superman. It was directed by Richard Lester and starred Christopher Reeve, Gene Hackman, Margot Kidder, Ned Beatty, Jackie Cooper, Terence Stamp and Sarah Douglas. The film begins with Superman saving Lois Lane in , where terrorists have put a bomb in one of the elevators of the Eiffel Tower. Superman takes the elevator to space. Without wishing, it causes the ghost zone where the Krypton villains, led by General Zod, were imprisoned. When released, they go to Earth.
