In a dystopian future, a civil servant and his partner pursue a fugitive, who is captured by a scout looking for ransom. Determined, the officials pursue the two to a shelter in a quarry. Everything becomes complicated when the adventurer and the captive enter the “slipstream”, a deadly wind that sweeps across the Earth.
