Rocky (1976) is an American film written and carried out by Sylvester Stallone and directed by John G. Avildsen. The story talks about the search for the American dream by Rocky Balboa. Rocky has qualities for boxing, and will have the unique opportunity to fight for the heavyweight title. The cast of the film is completed by Talia Shire as Adriane Pennino, Burt Young as Paulie (Adriane's brother), Burgess Meredith as Mickey Goldmill (his coach) and Carl Weathers as Apollo Creed, the world champion and rival of Rocky. Oscar for Best Picture in year 1976.
