Japanese Flu Drug Effective Against Coronavirus

Favipiravir is an antiviral that has been tested in clinical trials with 340 people in the Chinese cities of Wuhan (origin of the coronavirus outbreak) and Shenzhen. The results show that people treated with the drug take an average of 4 days to recover, while those without treatment took about 11 days.
