Fernando Alonso gives a magnificent performance in his first Dakar Rally

Apart from Carlos Sainz's great victory in the Dakar Rally, we must also mention the excellent performance of Fernando Alonso. The Asturian driver finished 13th overall. We must not forget that this is his first participation and that his flirtation with the world of rallying began only a few months ago. Now it's time to prepare his next big challenge: to win the Indianapolis 500 and thus achieve the long awaited Triple Crown.
