Diplomatic incident between Spain and Bolivia

Tension increases at the Mexican embassy in Bolivia where former leaders of the government of former Bolivian president Evo Morales take refuge. Spanish diplomats were accused by the interim government of Bolivia of trying to illegally remove asylees at the Mexican diplomatic headquarters. For its part, the government of Spain defends itself by stating that it was only a courtesy visit by the head of business in Spain.
