Blue is the warmest colour is a romantic French film of 2013 directed, written and produced by Abdellatif Kechiche and starring Adèle Exarchopoulos and Léa Seydoux, inspired by the French graphic novel: Blue is warm color of Julie Maroh. The film revolves around Adèle (Exarchopoulos), a French teenager who discovers desire and freedom when an aspiring blue hair painter (Seydoux) enters her life. The film shows her relationship between Adele's high school years to her early adult life and her career as a school teacher.
